Meet Alexandra Anokhina, our UX Ecommerce Designer at Calashock Commerce
What do you do at Calashock Commerce?
I’m in charge of the UI and UX directions in Calashock and often help as a design consultant. My role is about translating business ideas and tasks into visual interaction and experience for the end consumer.
What is your favourite project that you have worked on here, and why?
It is challenging to single out any of the projects because I like them all in their way. When working on Quickcrop, Kimbo, Shopfitting Warehouse, Jocko Fuel, and many others, I’ve seen that everyone loves what they do and sincerely believes in what they do. This is what inspires and drives the process.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to an ecommerce merchant looking to grow their business?
Remember to pay attention to content and storytelling, no matter how big your business is. Personalize your company or store. Do not remain just a template – even a small personal detail or captivating story will make you stand out, bring you closer to your goals and customers, and unite everyone involved in your business.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love trekking in the mountains and forests. This strangely coexists with my dislike for insects, but the experience is priceless. I am a big fan of fantasy and world classic literature, so if I have an occasion, I will likely be somewhere with a book. And, of course, I like simple, joyful things like visiting bars, playing board games, and hanging out with friends.
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
I would like to be a healer who can heal everything, and I think this would be one of the most valuable superpowers in the world.
