Podbike

Headless BigCommerce site on WordPress

Brand

Podbike is a Norwegian firm that has created Frikar, an e-bike that aims to bridge the gap between cars and bikes by combining the comfort and safety of a car with the advantages of cycling. Frikar is environmentally friendly, functional, and stylish.

The development is based on years of research and user experience with e-bikes and contemporary velomobiles.

Brief

Podbike had no ecommerce website and was taking pre-orders online before contacting us. They required an ecommerce website that could be accessed from the United Kingdom and Germany. BigCommerce was chosen as the ecommerce platform because of its excellent value for money and cost-effectiveness.

Approach

Each project at Calashock follows a four-step process:

  • discovery
  • wireframes
  • design
  • development

During the discovery stage, we try to learn about the client's likes and dislikes, the major reasons for a new website, the client's pain points, and competitive advantage in order to deliver the best solutions.

We recognised Podbike's requirement for a one-of-a-kind, bilingual, and multi-country website design. Following that, we built a project timeline with milestones and deadlines.

We then created a wireframe for the web page, laying out the elements and making sure it included all they needed. We worked with our developers to generate the website after the design was finalised.
